Paste a public link from X or Twitter. TikTok, Vimeo, and Facebook work too.
Use this page when you already have a public X or Twitter link and want the file in your browser.
The extension adds a download button on X and Twitter. The website works without it.
X is the headline. TikTok, Vimeo, and Facebook also work. YouTube is turned away with a clear message. Instagram and Bilibili are not accepted right now.

Yes. Animated GIFs on X are usually saved as an MP4 video. A post with only a still image may not return a video.
The post may be private, deleted, age-restricted, or have no video. A bad link or a temporary block by X can also fail it. Copy the post link again and retry once. GrabGrab does not log in or bypass private accounts.

The public API does not require a key. When the human check is turned on, the website asks for it, while the extension and assistants use a smaller per-IP limit instead. A private key is optional for the owner's own tools.
Each network can only prepare a limited number of downloads in a 10-minute window. If you see "too many requests", wait and try again.
1080p is the usual choice for X. TikTok, Vimeo, and Facebook may offer different sizes. Lower resolutions and best available are there too.
No. GrabGrab only handles posts that are public without logging in.
TikTok works. Instagram and Bilibili are not reliable enough, so they are not accepted. Reddit and Bluesky are not accepted either. Use the X, TikTok, Vimeo, or Facebook downloaders.
