How to download a Facebook video

Public Facebook videos can be saved from facebook.com/watch, a /videos/ link, or fb.watch. If Facebook asks you to log in before the video plays, GrabGrab cannot fetch it.

  1. Step 1

    Copy a public video link

    Use a watch link, a /videos/ link, or an fb.watch short link that plays while you are logged out.

  2. Step 2

    Paste it and press Go

    The same box used for X accepts that public Facebook URL.

  3. Step 3

    Save the MP4

    Download the file when it is ready. Login-only posts fail, and that is expected.

Do Facebook Reels work?

Only when the reel is public and plays without a login. Private reels are not supported.

Is YouTube supported on this page?

No. YouTube links are refused before any download is attempted.
